Our spot is in Alok Vihar 1, which is at 3331 in Sector 50, Noida. It’s a pretty quiet area compared to the main roads of Noida, which makes it a decent place to get some work done. The office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit in everything we need for the Lic business. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets that are almost always full. People from the apartments around here usually stop by when they have a question about their life insurance or if they need to pay a premium. It’s a very routine kind of life. We get in, start the computer, and begin going through the list of tasks for the day. There’s no big corporate vibe here; it feels more like a small local shop. We talk to our neighbors and help out the people who live in Alok Vihar when they are confused by the fine print on their policies. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in the summer. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We’d rather just have a functional space where we can sit down with someone and go over their documents. It’s a practical office for a practical neighborhood. Most days are just spent quietly working through the stack of papers on the desk while looking out at the trees in the sector. It is simple but it works for what we need to do.
