This office is located on FCI Road near the Kasimpur Power House in Aligarh. It’s a bit of an older building, but it serves its purpose for what we do every day. Working around a power house means there is always a bit of a hum in the background. We have been based here for quite some time now. Aligarh can be a hectic place, but this part of town has its own pace. Most of us here just focus on our daily tasks and making sure the equipment is behaving. It is not the kind of place you come for a fancy meeting. We have desks that have seen better days and a lot of logbooks stacked up. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning our boots before stepping inside. People from the neighborhood know where we are if they need to check on something. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the usual setup for a local utility spot at Je. It’s practical work. We see the same faces every day and that is how we like it. The sun hits the building hard in the afternoon, making it quite warm, but we just get on with it. It’s a solid place to work and we have been part of the landscape here for years. It is just a regular job in a regular part of Aligarh.
