F K International

We are over at 27-B, Khizrabad, which is right near the Lions Hospital in the N.F.C area of New Delhi. Being so close to the hospital makes it easy for people to find us if they are coming from other parts of the city. F K International is basically just a busy office where we handle a lot of different shipping and international coordination tasks. There are always boxes and samples lying around, so the place looks a bit cluttered most of the time. We don't have a professional decorator or anything; we just put desks where they fit and stack things where there’s room. New Delhi is always fast and loud, and that energy definitely makes its way into our office too. There is always a sense of being in a hurry to get things out the door on time. We have a small team of people who handle the various parts of the business, and we usually just shout across the room if we need something. It’s not the most sophisticated way to work, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking on tracking numbers and talking to people in different time zones. By the time we lock up for the night, we are usually pretty tired, but it’s a good kind of busy. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the orders.
