Essel Shyam Communication Limited is over at Shipra Suncity, specifically in Sta906. If you've ever been through that area, you know it's a big place with lots of buildings that all look a bit alike. Our office is just one of those units. It’s where we sit and handle all the communication tasks that come our way. The office is a bit cramped if everyone shows up at the same time, but we make it work with what we have. There’s a small kitchen area where we make tea, which is pretty much the most important part of the morning. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at screens, trying to figure out technical issues or just keeping the logs updated. It’s quiet work for the most part, though things can get a bit loud when there’s a deadline or something breaks unexpectedly. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that, so if someone comes by, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to see who it is. The walls are a plain off-white color and we’ve got some posters up that have been there for years. It’s just a practical space for practical people. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations here. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and then head home when the sun goes down. It's nothing special but it's ours.
