Rnk Lalitha General Store

Our place, Rnk Lalitha General Store, is located at Plot No. 5/7/113 in Kamareddy. It’s not a huge building, just a steady spot where we have been for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy sorting through the new stock that comes in every week. We carry a bit of everything, from notebooks for the school kids to cooking oil and matches. There is a certain way things are stacked here that only we really understand, so if a customer asks for something specific, we usually know exactly which pile it’s buried under. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually sit near the front door to catch whatever breeze comes down the street. We see a lot of the same people every day. It’s nice to have that routine. We don't bother with fancy displays or big signs. The name is painted on the front and that seems to be enough for most folks around here. Sometimes the kids come in with a few coins for candy and they take forever to choose, which can be a bit annoying when there’s work to do, but we wait anyway. It’s just a normal part of running a shop in a town like this. We try to keep things organized but it always ends up looking a bit cluttered by the end of the day. The light over the back counter flickers sometimes, but it usually stays on long enough to finish the billing and get the change ready.
