You can find us at Khasra No 487, 32, near Pole No 66 in Peera Garhi. We are right by the ice factory, which is usually how people find us if they get lost. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but we like it here. The place is full of the smell of ink and the sound of the printing machines running all day. We do all sorts of printing jobs, from small flyers to bigger sales stuff that people need for their shops. There are always stacks of paper everywhere and sometimes it feels like we are drowning in color samples. We don’t have a big corporate setup; it’s just a few of us making sure the prints come out looking like they should. If a machine breaks down, we usually end up fixing it ourselves because we’ve been doing this long enough to know the quirks of the equipment. It’s a busy life in Peera Garhi and the street outside is always noisy with people and cars going by. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the orders we have for the day. Sometimes things get a little chaotic when a lot of orders come in at once, but we just put our heads down and get through the stack. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing the finished product come off the press.
