You can find Yohannan Fashion Private Limited over at the Nurses Residential complex in Sriniwaspuri. It is in Block No 15/202, which makes it a bit of a unique spot for a fashion company. Most people expect us to be in a big industrial park, but we like the feel of being in a residential neighborhood. It is a bit quieter than the main markets of Delhi, which helps us focus when we are trying to sketch out new ideas. The space is fairly compact, so we have to be very careful about where we put things. We have converted part of the area into a small studio where we do all our samples. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat, and we usually have a pot of tea ready to share. It feels more like a home-based workshop than a traditional office. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights outside. Most of our work happens on the tables and computers inside. The light coming through the windows in the morning is actually quite nice for looking at fabrics. We are just a few people who enjoy the process of making clothes and decided to set up shop here. It is a simple life, and we don't feel the need to pretend to be a giant corporation. We just focus on the garments and making sure our customers are happy with what they get.
