F. S. Clothing Company

F. S. Clothing Company is tucked away in a basement at 30/16a. Working in a basement means we do not get much natural light, so we rely on those bright tube lights all day. It can get a bit stuffy down here when the machines are all running at once, but we have some fans to keep the air moving. Since it is 30/16a, it is a specific little spot that people sometimes miss if they aren't looking closely. We have piles of clothing everywhere, from the cutting table to the finished stacks waiting to be moved out. It is a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything that is happening. The stairs leading down can be a bit steep, especially when you are carrying a heavy bundle of fabric. We have been in this basement for a bit now, and you just get used to the sounds from the street above. You can hear people walking and cars passing by while we work on the latest batches. It is a lot of sitting and focused work, but we take breaks when we can. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks at the delivery guys, which always makes us laugh. It isn't a fancy office with a view, but for a clothing company, it serves us just fine. We just focus on the garments and getting them done right for whoever is waiting for them.
