India Craft

India Craft is based in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. Specifically, we are at B-72 in the Leather Complex, on the second floor. It’s a very industrial setting, lots of noise and trucks moving around all day. We’ve been here at number 24 for quite some time. The air always smells a bit like leather and workshop dust. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just workbenches and piles of materials. We spend our time making things by hand or with simple machines. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but we are used to it by now. It’s a busy place, and we don’t really have time for polished speeches or fancy brochures. People who come here usually know exactly what they are looking for. We just focus on the craft and getting things out the door on time. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets flooded, but we just keep working. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The team is small, mostly local people who have been doing this for years. We stay focused on the tasks at hand. It’s a basic operation but it works for us and our regulars. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. It's just a regular workshop where things get made.
