Ambica Steels Ltd. is tucked away in the Wazirpur Industrial Area at C-54/1. If you know Wazirpur, you know it is a place where people are always busy and there is a lot of metal moving around. Our spot is pretty much what you would expect from a steel company. It is loud, it is hot in the summer, and there is a constant hum of activity. We have been working out of this location for quite some time and the building has seen better days, but it is solid. We deal with a lot of steel orders and the yard is usually full of inventory that needs to be sorted and shipped. The guys working the floor have their own way of doing things and they don’t like it when someone messes with their routine. In the office, we try to keep the dust off the keyboards, but it’s a losing battle. We drink a lot of water and try to stay cool while we check the manifests. There is no corporate polish here, just honest work and the smell of iron in the air. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lane outside and we all have to go out and help the driver navigate. It’s just another day in the industrial area for us, and we wouldn't really have it any other way.
