You can find Anand Trading at Plot No. 11090 in Gali No. 2. We are in the Doriwalan area of Karol Bagh. It’s a typical Delhi spot, very busy and very tight. The building is older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to worry about that. We’ve got shelves lining every wall, packed with whatever we are trading that week. The phones ring quite a bit, and there’s always someone coming in to ask about a price or a delivery. We don't use any fancy software to track things; we mostly use paper ledgers and our memory. Karol Bagh is a maze, and Gali No. 2 is no exception. You have to watch out for the scooters zooming past the front door. We usually have a stack of empty crates outside. The lighting inside is a bit yellow, and the fan makes a clicking sound, but we don't mind. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we aren't all related. We know the tea seller around the corner by name and he knows how we like our brew. We don't try to impress anyone with big talk or shiny signs. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s practical work. We handle the goods, talk to the transporters, and go home tired. It’s been this way for a long time.
