You have to head down to the basement at B 12 in Laxmi Nagar Swasthya Vihar to find Varsha Traders. Being in a basement means we don't get much natural light, so we keep the overhead bulbs on all day long. It’s a bit of a maze down here with all the boxes and stock we keep on hand. We deal with trading various goods, and the inventory is always changing. One week the space is full of one thing, and the next it's something totally different. It gets a bit cramped, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to shuffle everything around to make room for it. The stairs can be a bit steep, so we’re always careful when moving crates up and down. We don't have a flashy sign outside, just a small one to let people know they’re in the right place. Most of our business happens over the phone or with regular clients who have been coming to us for years. They know the way down. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of operation. We focus on getting orders filled and keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. It’s busy work, and there’s always paperwork to do at the old wooden desk in the corner. We like the Laxmi Nagar area; it’s always buzzing with activity, which keeps us on our toes through the day. We’ve been here quite a while and know the neighborhood well.
