Viva Fashions

We are located at A-54 in Okhla Industrial Area Phase 2. If you know Delhi, you know Okhla is always moving. Viva Fashions is right in the middle of all that activity. Our unit isn't the biggest on the block, but we manage to get a lot of work done in this space. Every morning starts with the sound of the machines starting up and the tea guy making his rounds. We focus on garment production, mainly. There is usually a lot of fabric scrap on the floor by noon, which we have to clear out before the next shift starts. It is a dusty, busy environment, but that is the nature of an industrial area. We don't spend much on decorating the place because we are too busy using every inch of floor space for cutting and packing. People come and go all day, mostly delivery drivers or workers from the nearby units. We keep the doors open for some air, even when it is noisy outside. We have a small group of regulars who have been working with us for years. They know how we operate. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make clothes. If the power stays on and the machines behave, it is a good day. We take it one order at a time and try to stay on top of the schedule. The lunch break is usually the only quiet time we get.
