Vinayak Garments Co.

Our shop, Vinayak Garments Co., is tucked away at No. 2/4 in the Old Storey part of Gupta Market. Being in Lajpat Nagar- 4 means it's always busy around us. There are people everywhere and it never really gets quiet until late at night. We deal with all sorts of garments. The shop is small and packed from floor to ceiling with stock. We have to use a ladder to reach the boxes on the top shelves. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two customers come in at once. We’ve been in Gupta Market for a long time. We know all the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we trade change or help each other out with bags. It’s a regular life. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and start the day. The clothes are mostly what people need for everyday wear. We try to keep things priced fair so people come back. The fans hum all day to keep the air moving. It gets hot in the summer, but we are used to it by now. We focus on getting the stock in and making sure it's what people are looking for this season. Sorting the deliveries takes up most of our Tuesday mornings. We just keep things moving.
