Vikas Motor Driving School

You can find us right by the Mangolpuri Bus Stand Market, shops 41 to 44. It’s a busy area with a lot of people moving around, which is actually good for people learning to drive because they see real traffic right away. We have a few cars parked nearby. They aren't brand new, but we keep them running well and they have the extra pedals for the instructor. It's a small office where we handle the forms and the licenses. It gets a bit noisy with the buses going past, but we're used to it. We've taught a lot of people from this neighborhood how to handle a steering wheel. Some learn fast, others take a lot of time and get nervous. We just sit there with them until they get it. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of plastic chairs. Most people don't hang around anyway, they just want to get their lesson done and go home. We keep the logbooks on a shelf behind the desk. It’s a simple business. My brother helps out with the afternoon shifts. We don't use any big marketing tricks. People see our cars with the 'L' sign and they just come in to ask about the price. We tell them what it costs for ten days or a month and we go from there. We have a map of the local area pinned to the wall to show the routes we usually take. The chairs are a bit wobbly, but nobody minds.
