Asian Motor Driving School

Teaching people how to drive in Delhi is never a dull moment. We’ve been running Asian Motor Driving School from L-25 in West Patel Nagar for quite some time. The office is small, just enough space for some chairs and a desk where we keep the schedules. You can usually find us there early in the morning before the first lessons start. West Patel Nagar is a busy place, so our students get used to the traffic right away. We use regular cars, nothing fancy, because that’s what people will be driving in real life. Our instructors are just normal guys who have been driving these roads for years. They have a lot of patience, which you definitely need in this city. We don't use any flashy ads to get people in. Usually, it’s just someone’s cousin or neighbor who learned with us and told them to come by. The walls have some old posters about road signs that have been there forever. We try to keep the cars clean, but with the Delhi dust, it’s a constant battle. It’s a simple business. We take someone who is nervous behind the wheel and help them get comfortable. There’s a lot of talking and explaining the rules as we go. When the day is over, we park the cars and head home, ready to do it all again the next day. It’s a good way to earn a living and we like meeting all sorts of people.
