Our office is actually a flat, No. A4, on the third floor of Bali Apartments in Krishna Park. It’s listed under C/O Nd Bhatt at D 323. Being in a residential building near Ashok Vatika makes for a different kind of work environment. Vibrox Electrosoft is what we call ourselves, but it feels more like a home than a company. We don’t have a big reception desk or a glass entrance. You just walk up the stairs and ring the bell. Inside, we’ve turned the living area and the rooms into a workspace for our electronics and software projects. It’s a bit informal, with wires running across the floor and parts piled up on the tables. We like it this way because it’s comfortable and we don’t have to deal with the stress of a big office building. South Delhi can be very busy, but our little corner is relatively quiet. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know what we’re doing. We spend a lot of time testing things and writing code. There’s no pressure to wear suits or act a certain way. We just focus on the technical work. Sometimes we sit on the balcony for a break to get some sun. It’s a very practical and low-key way to run things, and it suits our style perfectly.
