Our workspace is at B-68/1B on the second floor in Phase II of the Naraina Industrial Area. If you have ever been to Naraina, you know it is a place where things get made. It’s full of warehouses and small factories, so there is always the sound of machines or trucks in the background. We are in a brick building that has seen better days, but the inside is where we do all our work. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a breeze if we leave the windows open. We focus on connecting different systems together, which involves a lot of wiring and software stuff. It’s a bit of a mess of cables in some corners, but that is just part of the job. Our team is small, just a few people who are good with their hands and their heads. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep us going. The stairs up to our floor are a bit narrow, so moving large equipment in can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We’ve been in this spot for a couple of years and we’ve gotten to know the other business owners in the block. It’s a hardworking neighborhood and we fit right in. We don’t have a big reception area or a secretary; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free.
