Vanita Overseas

Working out of 633/2 Block Rz on Street Number 4 in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area is definitely an experience. Vanita Overseas is right in the middle of all the grit and hard work of the district. Every morning, the smell of grease and metal from the nearby workshops hangs in the air. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the building shows its age a bit, but it serves its purpose. Our main thing is handling goods that need to go a long way, so there is a lot of bubble wrap and heavy-duty tape involved in our daily routine. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s baking outside. We usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background to keep the mood steady while we check the manifests. Street Number 4 is always crowded with carts and people moving stuff back and forth. Sometimes the power cuts out for an hour, and we just sit outside on the steps and chat until it comes back on. It’s not a glamorous job, and your clothes usually end up with a bit of dust on them by the time you head home. We just keep our heads down and make sure the crates are packed tight so nothing breaks on the way to wherever it’s going. We've got a rhythm here that works for us, even if it is a bit noisy sometimes.
