We are tucked away in East of Kailash at B 58. It’s a busy part of town, but our little corner stays relatively manageable. Since we deal with kids, there is always some sort of noise happening, whether it’s laughing or just the sound of toys hitting the floor. The building is an older one, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We have different rooms set up for different activities, though they often end up getting messy by the afternoon. Parents are always coming and going, dropping off their little ones or picking them up after work. The stairs can be a bit steep, so we always have to watch the kids carefully. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where children can spend their time. Sometimes the traffic in East of Kailash makes it hard for people to arrive on time, but we are used to that by now. We try to keep things organized, but with kids, things rarely stay in place for long. It feels like a second home to many of the staff who have been here for years. We just keep the lights on and make sure there’s enough space for everyone to move around. It's a simple, local spot for the neighborhood families. We’ve got some colorful mats on the floor and a shelf full of old books. Most of our days are spent cleaning up spills and finding lost shoes.
