Urban Cafe

We’ve been at Khan Market Middle Lane 70 for a good while now. It’s one of those busy spots where there is always something going on outside the door. The shop itself isn't particularly big, but we’ve made the most of the space we have. Most of our mornings are spent just getting everything ready, like wiping down the tables and making sure the chairs are lined up right before the first customers show up. It gets pretty noisy in the afternoons when everyone is out for lunch, and you can hear the chatter from the lane drifting inside. We see a lot of the same people every day, mostly folks who work in the nearby offices or live around here. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble or a lightbulb flickers and we have to go find a ladder, but that’s just part of the routine. Khan Market has its own vibe, and the middle lane is a bit more tucked away, which we like. We try to keep the place comfortable without being too fancy. There are only a few of us working here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from taking orders to cleaning the floor at the end of the night. Some days are slower, which is when we finally get a chance to sit down for a minute or organize the back room. It’s just a regular cafe where you can get away from the street for a bit and not be bothered. We're just here doing our thing.
