Cafe Coffee Day

This location is on Street No 6C in the K-Block of Mahipal Pur Extn. It’s at Mek-363. Being in New Delhi-110037, we get a lot of people passing through, especially since we are not far from the main roads. The place is just a regular spot to sit down for a bit. At Cafe Coffee Day, we spend a lot of time cleaning the tables and making sure the machine is running right. Sometimes the steam wand gets clogged and we have to take it apart to clean it ourselves. We have a few tables inside and the light comes in through the front windows in the morning. It’s not the biggest place, but it works for what it is. Most days are pretty much the same. We start early to get things ready before the first people show up. The neighborhood around Street No 6C is always a bit noisy with traffic and horns, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have some regulars who come in and don't even need to say what they want anymore. It’s just us working behind the counter, trying to keep things tidy. We keep a stack of napkins on the counter and some sugar packets in the bowls. It’s a practical little shop for the area. Nothing too fancy or over the top. Just a place in Mahipal Pur where you can sit for a minute and watch the street outside. We keep the floor swept and the lights on until we close up late.
