Ritu Fashion

Ritu Fashion is located at Rz-21a in Gali No. 5, over in the Tughlakabad Extension. If you've been around here, you know the streets are narrow and can get pretty crowded, especially in the evenings. Our shop is right in the middle of it all. It’s a small room filled with fabrics and patterns. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. The walls are covered with things we’ve worked on or just scraps we might need later. It’s a bit messy, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We know most of the people who live on Gali No. 5. They walk past every day on their way to the market. Sometimes the kids play right outside our door, and it gets a bit noisy, but we don't mind. We have a couple of old machines that make a lot of noise, but they still run fine. We spend our days cutting and stitching, trying to keep up with the orders people bring us. It's hard work and our backs ache by the end of the day, but it’s what we know how to do. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where to find us. We open up, do the work, and close the gate when we’re finished. It’s an honest way to make a living and we are happy staying right here in the extension.
