You can find us at 13/16 in Dakshin Puri, right near the Guru Dwara here in New Delhi. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving around all day long. Trading Engineers International Ltd is the name on the door, but we mostly just focus on the engineering supplies and parts that people need. Our office is on a street that can get quite crowded with rickshaws and delivery bikes, so it's always lively. Inside, it's a bit more organized, though we do have stacks of catalogs and technical manuals everywhere. We aren't the type of place that has a big reception desk or a waiting room. Usually, people just walk in and ask for what they're looking for. We spend a lot of time checking specs and making sure we have the right parts in stock. The heat in Delhi can be tough in the summer, so we keep a few fans going all day. It’s a hardworking environment where everyone knows their job. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, so we know the neighbors well. Most of us have been working together for years, so we have a good rhythm. It’s not always perfect—sometimes the phone lines act up or a delivery is late—but we just deal with it as it comes. We’re just regular people doing a technical job and making sure we get the details right for the machines our customers use.
