We are located in Gautam Nagar, which is right near the U.P. Dairy in New Delhi. If you can smell the milk or see the big delivery trucks moving around, you’re pretty much at our doorstep. Our office is on the second floor, B-40. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially in the Delhi summer heat when the air is thick, but it’s a good spot once you’re inside with the cooler running. We develop system software, so it's a lot of staring at lines of code for hours and hours. The room is filled with screens and some old notebooks we still use for scribbling down ideas when the computers are too much. It's not the biggest place, but it fits us just fine. We’ve been in this building for a few years now. It gets a bit noisy with the street traffic and the people coming and going from the dairy, but we don't mind much. It feels alive and busy. We usually have the radio on low in the background, or just the sound of the keyboard clicking away. We aren't into that whole high-tech office look you see in magazines. Everything here is practical and a little bit worn in. We focus on the work rather than how the office looks to visitors who rarely come by anyway. Most of our day is spent debugging or trying to figure out why a piece of software isn't doing what it's supposed to do. It’s quiet work in a loud city.
