The Printers House has its office at 10 Scindia House, right in the heart of Connaught Place. It’s an old building with a lot of character, though the elevators can be a bit temperamental if you aren't patient. Working in CP means there’s always people everywhere and finding a parking spot is almost impossible most days. Inside the office, things are a bit cluttered with stacks of papers and old manuals. We’ve been here for quite some time, so there’s a lot of history in these walls. You can smell the ink and the old paper as soon as you walk in. It’s not like those modern offices in Gurgaon; it feels more like a place where people actually spend their lives. We have tea delivered in small glasses twice a day and that’s when most of the talking happens. Sometimes the city noise from outside gets loud, but we’re used to it by now. The desks are heavy wood and the chairs have seen better days. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a bunch of people in suits. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable and focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the corridors, but we know where everything is. It’s just our little corner of Delhi where we keep things running every day and deal with whatever comes up.
