TAUPE AND TEAL FASHION PRIVATE LIMITED

Our office is on the second floor over in Shakarpur, specifically in the Veer Savarkar Block. It’s number 209. We spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and talking to suppliers. Fashion is a weird business because things change so fast. One day it's one color, next day nobody wants it. We called the place Taupe and Teal because those were the colors we liked at the start. It’s a bit cramped in here with all the samples and rolls of cloth. Sometimes the elevator in Plot 1-A acts up, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. We're right in East Delhi, which is a great place if you need to find materials quickly. It’s noisy outside but we just keep the door shut and focus on the designs. We aren't some massive brand you see on TV. It’s just us trying to make clothes that people actually want to wear. Usually, we're busy arguing over buttons or thread counts. We drink a lot of chai while we work. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. No big speeches or corporate stuff here. Just some people who know their way around a sewing machine and a sketchpad. If you find yourself in Shakarpur, you’ll likely see the hustle of the market nearby.
