Superfoods And Beverages is based out of a house in New Ashok Nagar, specifically D-300. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that, just a regular place where we get our work done every day. We deal with various drinks and food items, mostly trying to figure out what people actually want to buy these days. The office is usually piled high with samples and boxes, and we spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers. New Delhi can be a tough place to run a small business because of the traffic and the heat, but we’ve stayed here because it’s where we started. My brother and I handle most of the heavy lifting ourselves. We don't have a team of marketing people telling us what to say. We just look at what’s in the warehouse and try to move it out to customers. Sometimes we get things wrong, and we have to fix it on the fly. It’s a lot of manual labor and tracking spreadsheets late into the night. New Ashok Nagar is a crowded area, so getting deliveries in and out is always a bit of a puzzle. We don't pretend to be some huge corporation. We're just a few people in a house trying to make a living selling beverages. It’s simple enough when you think about it, even if the days feel long.
