Our workshop is located at B-42 in Phase-I of the Okhla Industrial Area. If you know Okhla, you know it’s a place that never really stops moving. There are trucks everywhere and the sound of machinery is just the background music of our lives. We deal with the automation side of the apparel industry, which basically means we fix and sell the machines that make clothes. Our space is very much a working environment. It’s full of metal parts, oil cans, and toolboxes. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone wearing a tie. Usually, we are all in our work shirts, trying to figure out why a particular sewing motor isn't hitting the right speed. It’s a hands-on job and it’s often quite loud in here. We’ve been in this building for years, and we know all the quirks of the plumbing and the way the roof leaks just a little bit during the heavy rains. People in the garment trade know they can come to us when they’re in a fix. We try to be practical and just get the machines back on the line as quickly as possible. We aren't interested in making things sound more complicated than they are. It’s just about gears, motors, and making sure everything runs smooth for the factories nearby. We spend our days troubleshooting and making sure we stay caught up with the orders that come through.
