You’ll find S.R.K. Apparels Llp up in the Upper Anand Parvat area at House number 600 in Kala Pahar 21. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but the view of the city isn't bad. This part of Delhi is very industrial and full of small workshops. We fit right in. Our setup is simple. We use a few rooms in the building for our sewing machines and a larger area for finishing the clothes. It’s a very hands-on operation. We don’t have any fancy computers or high-tech systems. We use paper ledgers and do most things by hand. The people working here are like family. We’ve been together for a long time. Anand Parvat has a reputation for being a place where things get made, and we are proud to be part of that. It’s noisy and sometimes the roads are a mess, especially when it rains. But we show up every day and do the work. We make all sorts of apparel and try to keep up with the orders we get. We don’t talk about missions or visions; we just talk about what needs to be stitched by the end of the day. It’s a very basic, honest way to run a business. We focus on the practical side of things and let the work speak for itself. It’s been our way of life for years now and we don't plan on changing it. Every morning starts with tea and a list of jobs to finish.
