Our office is tucked away on the first floor at C 4/123 in the Safdarjung Development Area. It’s a nice part of New Delhi to work in, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. Smita Buildwell is really just a group of us who handle building projects. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation with shiny glass walls. Most of the time, our desks are covered in blueprints and site notes. We spend a lot of time out at different project locations, so the office is mostly for the paperwork and drinking tea while we figure out schedules. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. If someone has a question about a renovation or a new build, they usually just ring us up or stop by the SDA office. We don’t do big ads. Usually, it's neighbors telling neighbors about us. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy enough. Sometimes the weather slows us down, especially during the monsoon, but we deal with it. We’ve been in this 110016 area for a bit and know the local suppliers well, which helps get things moving. It’s just a normal day-to-day business where we try to get things right. It’s not always perfect, but we put the effort in every day. We just want to get the job done so we can move on to the next one.
