Sleepy Owl Coffee Private Limited is based at 86 B in Shahpur Jat. If you’ve ever walked through the narrow lanes of Shahpur Jat, you know it’s full of designers and small cafes, and we are right in the middle of that maze. Our space is 86 B and it smells like coffee most of the time, which is probably the best part of working here. We aren't a giant factory. We are just a team that really cares about how coffee is handled. The building is an old South Delhi structure, so it has its quirks, like the occasional power flicker or the weird plumbing in the bathroom. We don't mind it much because the atmosphere in the neighborhood is so lively. We spend a lot of time testing different brews and talking to people about what they like to drink. It’s not a very formal environment. Most of us wear jeans and t-shirts and we don't have private offices. We just sit around a big table and get through the day’s tasks. Sometimes it gets stressful when we have a big deadline or a shipment is delayed, but we usually figure it out over a cup of black coffee. We aren't trying to sound like some big international corporation because we aren't one. We are just people in a small office in Delhi trying to do one thing well without making it too complicated.
