We’re located over in Kondli, specifically at E-87 in Harijan Basti. Siddh Bali Buildcon Llp is on the third floor, on the right side. It’s a bit of a climb up those stairs every day, but it gives us a decent enough view of what’s going on in the area. Kondli is a busy, crowded part of New Delhi, and being right in the middle of it helps us stay connected to all the local building projects. We ended up in this line of work because there is always so much construction happening around us and we wanted to be a part of that action. We do various types of construction and renovation work. Our office isn't anything special to look at—just a room with some tables, a lot of folders, and a corner where we keep the tea kettle and some biscuits. It’s a practical space where we can sit down and focus on the logistics of building. We spend a lot of our time dealing with different suppliers and making sure the crews at the sites have what they need to keep moving. It’s definitely not a glamorous job. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on the progress of work at several different locations. We’re a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from paperwork to site visits. We don't have a big marketing budget. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past the building in Harijan Basti. We’ve been here for many years.
