Our shop is located at 1730/2 on Gurudwara Road in Kotla Mubarakpur. We have been selling kitchenware and utensils here for a long time. People around the neighborhood usually know us as the place to get a new pressure cooker or some stainless steel plates. The shop is quite small, so we have to stack the pots and pans all the way to the ceiling to fit everything in. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two people come in at once. We stock basic stuff that every house needs for cooking and eating. We don't really do anything modern or high-tech; it's mostly just good old steel, brass, and aluminum. When a festival is coming up, things get really busy and we spend a lot of time packing sets for gifts. We handle all the sales ourselves. If something is wrong with a lid or a handle, we try to fix it right there if we can. The street outside is always full of people going to the market, so there’s always something happening. We open early in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s a simple business. We just sell what people use in their kitchens every day. Most of our customers are families who have been living in this area as long as we have. We keep the counter clear for packing.
