Shivik Internet Pvt Ltd is based out of Sector 1 in R.K. Puram. It’s a well-known part of New Delhi, and we’ve been here in the 110022 area for some time. We deal with internet stuff, but we aren't some giant tech company with beanbags and free snacks. Our office is pretty basic. We have a few computers, some servers that hum in the corner, and a lot of tangled cables that we keep meaning to tidy up. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or talking to people about their connections. It’s a lot of technical work, but we try to keep it simple when explaining things to folks who aren't into computers. R.K. Puram is a decent place to work, even if the parking is a nightmare sometimes. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure the service stays active and the customers don't have too many complaints. We’re just a small group of people who know how to fix things when the internet goes down. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just a whiteboard with some passwords and a list of things to fix before the end of the day. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes. We just drink our tea and keep the signal running as best as we can. It's not always easy, but it's what we do here in Sector 1.
