Shikshaplanet Consultancy is located at GH-6/321 in Meera Bagh, Paschim Vihar. We are tucked away in a residential part of Delhi-110087. This office is a simple space where we help students and their families figure out where to go for higher education. It is not a big corporate building with many floors. Instead, it is more like a small office inside a housing complex. We have some shelves filled with university prospectuses and a few desks where we sit and talk to people. Usually, there are three or four of us around to help out. We don't have a marketing department or a sales team to manage. We just use our own experience to give people honest advice on their school choices. Most of our day is spent on the phone or answering emails from concerned parents. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed and low-key. We usually have some tea going and we don't mind if people just drop by to ask a few quick questions. It is a quiet neighborhood, which is nice for having serious conversations about the future. We have been doing this work for a long time now. We aren't trying to be the biggest consultancy in the country. Helping the kids in our local area get into good courses is what matters to us. It is a very practical way of working and we enjoy the people we meet.
