Shamisha Buildtech Private Limited is located at 21 Barakhamba Road, in the Indraprakash Building. We are up on the third floor in suite 301. Barakhamba Road is one of those central spots in New Delhi where everything feels very fast and important. Even though it is a big commercial building, our office is pretty lived-in. We have our files, our computers, and usually a few half-empty cups of tea sitting around. Being in the center of the city means we are close to a lot of the government offices, which helps with the paperwork side of construction. We spend a lot of time waiting for elevators and navigating the crowds on the sidewalk. Our work involves a lot of technical planning and making sure the build sites are following the rules. It is a bit more formal here than in the suburbs, but we still keep things pretty grounded. We don’t really go for the high-end corporate image. We are just people who know a lot about building technology and how to get things constructed in a crowded city like Delhi. Sometimes the traffic on Barakhamba Road makes us late for meetings, but that is just part of living here. We focus on the details of the projects and try to make sure everything is handled correctly from our third-floor base in the heart of the city. We keep the lights on late when a deadline is coming.
