Seating Craft

You can find us over at B-115 in Mansarovar Garden, which is right in the heart of the Kirti Nagar area. If you’ve ever been around here, you know it’s basically the center for anything related to furniture. We focus on seating, so there are always chairs and stools of all shapes and sizes lying around the workspace. It’s often a bit noisy because there’s always someone hammering something or moving heavy frames across the floor. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a place where things actually get built and put together. The smell of wood and fabric is pretty much always in the air. We have some guys who have been doing this for years, so they know exactly how to fix a wobbly leg or pull the fabric tight. Sometimes the deliveries get delayed because the narrow lanes in Kirti Nagar get blocked by big trucks, which is just part of living here. We don't try to be something we’re not. It’s just a workshop where we make seats that people can actually use without them breaking in a week. We spend our days measuring stuff, cutting materials, and talking to people about what kind of chair they need for their office or home. It’s busy, it’s a bit messy, but it’s what we do every day from morning until the sun goes down. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
