Satyam Computers

Keshav Puram is where we set up Satyam Computers, specifically at C-8/63A. It’s a typical Delhi street, always something happening outside and plenty of noise. We've been here for a good while. The shop isn't huge, just enough room for a couple of workbenches and some storage for parts we use every day. We deal with a lot of dust here, so we’re always blowing out fans and heat sinks for people. Customers come in with all kinds of problems. Broken hinges, slow startups, or just wanting a new mouse or keyboard. We don't try to sell people stuff they don't need. If a laptop is too old to fix properly, we just say so. It saves everyone time and money. Most of our days are spent staring at screens or trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't posting. We drink chai from the stall nearby a few times a day to keep going. We aren't part of some big chain. It's just us in this little corner of Delhi. The stairs up to the shop are a bit narrow, so carrying heavy desktop towers can be a bit of a workout for us. We don't have fixed hours sometimes, if the work is heavy we stay late into the night. If it’s a local holiday, we might open a bit later. It’s a local business, run by local people. We just do the work and hope the customers are satisfied enough to come back.
