Grooves Entertainment

Up here on the first floor of Shop No. 6 in Satya Niketan, things stay pretty loud. Being right opposite Venkateswara College means there is always music or students talking loudly downstairs. Grooves Entertainment isn't some massive corporate office; it’s just our spot where we handle all the entertainment stuff. We have posters on the walls and a few old computers that have seen better days. The stairs coming up are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you visit. We spend most of our time coordinating events or just figuring out schedules on big whiteboards. The light coming through the window is nice in the winter, though it gets a bit hot in June. We drink a lot of chai from the vendor at the corner while we work. It’s a busy environment because the college crowd never really slows down. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic move along the main road from our balcony. It’s a good place to be if you like being in the middle of everything. We don’t have fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable and get the work done. The files are piled up in the corner, but we know where everything is. It’s just us doing what we know how to do every day. There is always a lot of chatter and a bit of a mess, but it feels like home to us.
