Decore Events Management Co.

Decore Events Management Co. is based here in Shaheen Bagh, right in Abu Fazal Enclave in Okhla. We have been around for quite a while now, mostly helping out with local weddings and the small family functions that happen in the narrow lanes around this part of Delhi. It gets really busy during the wedding season, and sometimes the traffic in Shaheen Bagh makes it very difficult to move the heavy chairs and flower arrangements around on time, but we usually manage to get it done. It is mostly just us and a few local workers who know how to set up the big tents and the decorative lighting. We do not have a fancy, air-conditioned office, just a small spot where we keep all the poles and fabrics. Sometimes the decorations get a bit dusty from the road outside, but we clean everything up before any guests show up. People come to us because they know we live right here and we will not disappear. It is a lot of hard manual work, lifting heavy equipment and making sure the fabric drapes look okay. My cousin helps out with the bookings when he is not busy with his own work. We spend a lot of time on our phones trying to coordinate with the food guys and the people who bring the music systems. It is a loud, messy business but it is what we do. Anyway, that is us.
