Sapras Architects & Associates is based in Safdarjung Enclave at B 3/97. It’s a solid, quiet neighborhood, which is nice for the kind of work we do. Architecture requires a bit of concentration, and being here helps with that. Our office isn't one of those high-tech glass boxes. It’s a regular building where we’ve set up our workstations. We have plenty of room for our drafting tables and all the folders we need to keep track of projects. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we’re pretty settled in. When someone comes to see us at B 3/97, they usually find us busy with a set of plans or talking on the phone with a contractor. We keep things very down-to-earth. There’s no corporate jargon here; we just talk about the work in plain English. We like to focus on the details of every project, making sure the measurements are spot on. Safdarjung Enclave is a good place to work from because it feels more like a community than just a business district. We get to know the people around us and it makes the workday a bit more pleasant. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Our work usually speaks for itself once a building is finished. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, focusing on one project at a time and making sure the drawings are right.
