Our office is tucked away on the second floor of S-296 in Greater Kailash-II. Spazzio Design Architecture is really just a group of us who spend the majority of our time drawing up plans and looking at various building designs. We have been working from this particular spot for a good while, and the neighborhood has become very familiar to us over the years. The space is not very large, but it is enough to fit our desks and all the massive rolls of paper and blueprints we have lying around. We handle a lot of technical drawings and structural details every single day. Sometimes we have to head out to construction sites to see how things are going, and other times we are just here in the office staring at our computer screens until our eyes get tired. Architecture involves a lot of going back and forth, fixing things that do not quite work the first time around. We do not really use any of those fancy sales pitches; we prefer to just focus on the actual projects that land on our desks. There is usually a lot of tea and coffee being made here, especially when we have to stay late to finish a project. Being located in GK-II is pretty convenient for travel, even if finding a parking spot can be a real nightmare most days. We just try to get the designs done properly so that the buildings are safe and functional. It is tough work and our desks are always messy.
