H M Clothing Company

Our place, H M Clothing Company, is over on Najafgarh Road near the Samalka crossing. It is a bit of a tricky address to find if you are not from around here, Plot No. 49. It is a big dusty area with lots of trucks moving back and forth all day. We deal with clothes, mostly just getting things ready and packed up for orders. It is a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and checking fabrics. The building is more of a warehouse than a shop. It gets pretty hot in the summer because the roof is just metal, but we have a couple of big fans that keep the air moving. We are not some high-end fashion brand. We just make and move regular clothes that people actually wear. Some of the workers have been with us since we started at this Khasra number years ago. We know the tea stall guy down the road pretty well, he brings us snacks in the afternoon. It is a loud area with the crossing right there, but you get used to the noise. We do not have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people face to face or on the phone. Business is okay, it has its ups and downs like anything else. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out as fast as we can. It is honest work and it keeps us busy through the week.
