We've been at New Delhi House for quite a while now. It’s a busy building at 27, Barakhamba Road, right in the heart of things. Most mornings start with the rush of people coming from the metro station nearby. Room 1110 is where the engineering work happens. It’s not fancy, just desks, computers, and a lot of paper everywhere. Sometimes the lift takes forever to arrive, so we just wait and chat about the morning traffic or the heat outside. Working in this part of Delhi means there’s always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a month or two. We mostly deal with technical drawings and project stuff. Our team is small, just a few engineers and some office staff who keep things moving. We eat lunch at the nearby stalls or sometimes bring tiffins from home. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a breather. It’s a steady kind of place. We don’t do big parties or anything, just keep our heads down and get the work done. The office has big windows, but mostly you just see other tall buildings and the city smog. It’s just how it is here. We like being central because it’s easy for everyone to reach, even if the parking is a total nightmare. That’s Salgaocar Engineers Pvt.
