Laxmi Belt House

Sadar Bazar is a crowded place and our shop in Pratap Market is right in the middle of all that chaos. We deal mostly in belts and we have rows and rows of them hanging up or tucked into boxes. If you have ever been to Sadar you know how it is, people pushing past and lots of shouting. We’ve been at No. 2858/61 for a long time now. It’s a small space but we make use of every inch of the walls and floor. Usually, the morning starts with us dusting off the displays and checking what needs to be restocked. We get all sorts of customers coming through, from people just wanting one belt to folks looking for a whole lot to sell elsewhere. It gets hot in the summer and the lanes are narrow but we like being part of the market vibe. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talk because there is always someone waiting or a delivery coming in. Dealing with leather and buckles all day makes your hands a bit rough but that is just part of the job. We aren't trying to be anything special just a place to get a belt that works. Sometimes we have to dig through the back to find a specific size or color someone saw weeks ago. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the market shuts down at night and we can finally go home.
