This branch of S K Motor Driving School is also in Malviya Nagar at C-4 but we occupy both the ground floor and the basement area. Being right in the heart of the Main Market means parking is always a bit of a struggle for us and for the students too. It helps being near the Sagar Ratna restaurant because everyone knows where that is when they are looking for our door. The ground floor area is where we usually meet people first and then we have more space downstairs for other things. It’s a bit of a maze with all the shops around here but after all these years we’ve made this place our own. Hundreds of people walk past our door every hour. Some stop in to ask about the classes and others just want directions to the market stalls or the toilet. Everything here is kept very straightforward. No fancy simulators or anything like that exist in this office, just a real car and the real Delhi roads for you to learn on. Learning to drive in Malviya Nagar is a bit like a baptism by fire because of the crowds and the rickshaws. If you can drive here you can probably drive anywhere in the world. Our small team just takes turns taking the cars out for the hourly sessions. The chairs in the waiting area are nothing special but they do the job while someone waits for their turn. It’s a busy life in a busy market and we just keep the wheels turning for everyone.
