Royal Embroidery

We are located at D-104 in Okhla Phase I. If you’ve ever spent time in the Okhla industrial area, you know exactly what it’s like—lots of warehouses, trucks, and people constantly moving back and forth. Royal Embroidery is right in the middle of all that activity. Our unit is filled with the sound of embroidery machines clicking away all day long. It is a rhythmic noise that you eventually stop hearing after a few hours. There are threads of every color you can think of hanging on the walls or sitting in boxes. We spend most of our time keeping an eye on the machines and making sure the fabric is lined up right. It is a dusty place, like most units in Phase I, but it is where the work happens. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and see everyone working. During lunch, we usually sit around and talk about the news or the traffic on the way in. The weather can get really hot in the summer, making the shed quite warm, but we just keep the big fans blowing. It is a lot of attention to detail, watching those needles move fast across the cloth. We just focus on the job at hand and try to stay on top of the production schedule. It is a practical, hardworking environment and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
