We've been in Gorakhpur for a while now. The office is over in the P.O. area. It's a busy spot with people coming and going from the post office nearby, but we like it here. Most of us get in around nine and start checking what needs to be done for the day. Romtek is just a small group of people trying to keep things running. We don't have fancy office chairs or a coffee machine that talks to you. It's just a regular workspace with some desks and a lot of wires and papers scattered around. Sometimes the power goes out, but that's just how it is in UP. We just wait for the generator to kick in and keep going. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or talking to people on the phone. We don't really do big meetings with whiteboards. If someone has a problem, they just walk over to the next desk and ask. It's easier that way. We've stayed in this same spot because it's convenient for everyone. We don't really have a big sign outside, so people sometimes miss us on their first visit. But the locals know where we are. It’s quiet enough to get work done but you still hear the traffic from the main road through the windows. We just do our bit every day and then head home to our families. Nothing too complicated really. We just keep the lights on and handle the tasks as they come in. That’s pretty much us.
