We are over at A 150 and 151 on the first floor of Road No. 4 in Mahipalpur Extension. If you head down Street No. 9, you’ll find our building. Rnd Apparels India Private Limited is situated in a spot that’s always buzzing because of its proximity to the airport and the main highway. It’s an industrial sort of neighborhood, so there’s a lot of movement of trucks and goods all day long. Our workspace is quite large since we have two units joined together. We use the space to store and sort through various types of apparel. It’s not a glamorous setup by any means. There are metal racks everywhere and the floor is plain concrete. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving from one section to another. The noise from the planes overhead is something you just stop hearing after a few days. We have a few desks tucked into the corner for the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the middle of the floor. We aren’t interested in looking like a big corporate office. We’re here to work. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or share some food. It’s a decent place to spend the day, even if it gets a bit hot in the summer months. We just keep the fans going and stay focused on the tasks at hand. It’s straightforward work in a busy part of town.
